Hadrian, 117-138. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.13 g, 6 h), Rome, circa 129-130. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS Bare head of Hadrian to right, with aegis on his left shoulder. Rev. IVSTITIA AVG / COS III P P Justitia seated to left on throne, holding patera in her right hand and long scepter in her left. BMC -. Cohen -. RIC pl. 26, 1096 (this coin). Very rare. A beautifully toned example with a bold portrait of fine style. Slightly rough and with a few minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
